Miami Vice: An Icon of the Eighties
On top of that, there was the obvious eye candy; lavish cars, including a Ferrari Testarossa, expensive boats, fashionable clothing and of course, the beautiful women. Mann also made good use of music during the shows, using premier artists like Phil Collins, Glen Frey, Peter Gabriel and U2 to add drama beyond the visual. Both actors were basically “nobody’s” when the show blew on to the television wavelengths, but soon took the entire world, and all of Miami, by storm. |
